Boundary files from hand drawing using AI

A rough hand-drawn paddock boundary should become a GIS-ready file for FMIS and machinery — but only if the AI output can be checked before it goes to the field.

We test whether farm sketches — on paper or tablet — can become geometry that GIS and guidance systems can use without a full survey redraw.

We feed annotated sketches into vision models, extract candidate polygons, and compare them against known boundary layers for area and topology errors.
