ChickenSuccess

When shed records live in WhatsApp and spreadsheets, you don't have an operation — you have a scavenger hunt.

The problem

250,000+ birds per drop. Lean staff. No single source of truth.

A growing broiler operation near Tamworth was running critical shed adjustments, mortality, feed and water notes across WhatsApp, phone messages and disconnected spreadsheets. Audits meant reconstructing the week after the fact.

The question

Can one system follow how the sheds actually work?

Not a generic farm app. Something that matches organisation → farm → shed, the people on shift, and the records auditors ask for.

The build

Enterprise broiler software built around the job.

Role-based access for owners, managers, employees and contractors. Daily shed capture for mortality, feed, water and conditions. Dashboards, analytics and export-ready reporting from placement through processing handoff.

SHED WORK → RECORD → DASHBOARD → AUDIT

The outcome

One operational picture — less re-entry, clearer audits.

The team works from the same records instead of hunting through messages. Live at chickensuccess.com.

What we learned

Fit beats features.

The platform became useful when the data model followed real shed work and responsibility — not when we added more screens. If it doesn't match how people already move through the day, they won't use it.

Could this be useful to you?

We're interested in how this plays out on other livestock and mixed enterprises — not just poultry.
